Though after I fail, what is left.

The look in your eye.
The way that you hold me is cruel.
Despite all that I know,
And all that you lie,
I feel like we’ve crisscrossed some rule.
Don’t give me that look,
Or hand me this word,
Unless you can own what you mean,
Don’t say that I took,
All that we were,
Its useless to know what we’ve seen.
